Inside M Cube, by Mark Baez, M Designs

Check out this modular prefab model. It’s more than just a new example of eco living, it’s a unique piece of Venice and unbelievably cool. Designed by Mark Baez of M Designs (www.mdesignsglobal.com), M Cube is an inhabited prototype encompassing live/work space.

M Cube is one of six homes on the “Architects’ Homes in Venice and Santa Monica” Art & Architecture Tour, on Saturday, May 22. You’ll want to check out the open and moveable space — panels transform it from two or three rooms to one — as well as the high technology, including solar radiant heated floors and a solar luminous insulated window-wall system. M Cube is an incredible specimen of sustainable, cost-efficient, and urban living.
